Lighter + Kit
(DIY Themed Kits that attach to a standard size Bic Lighter.)

We've put together a set of supplies designed to fit against the frame of a lighter. Some of the supplies adhere (tapes, mirrors, glow surfaces) and other tools are attached by wrapping a ranger band around them against the lighter (cuff key, blade, kevlar saw).

Carry one lighter while simultaneously carrying a survival kit. All in your pocket. Quick deploy and use as needed.

Included with all kits:

• 1x Standard Bic brand Lighter (colors vary)
• 2x Medium Heavy Duty Ranger Bands.
• Loose tools and supplies for DIY setup, (some tapes and clips are pre-attached for your convenience).

Survival Kit: includes the following, 

• Signal Reflective Mirror. Attached to Bic frame (adhesive backed reflective tape).
• Glow Light Strip. Charged by light, illuminates for hours. Glow in the dark tape.
• Hockey Tape Base Grip w/ Paracord Lanyard: The base of the lighter has a short length of paracord loop secured under a wrapping of tightly woven poly-cotton cloth tape with aggressive natural rubber adhesive.
• Craft Razor Blade. Curved razor with lanyard hole, use as knife and fire striker. Cut rope, boxes, cloth, and use in other small tasks.
• Needle. In-between model with eyelet.
• Ziptie. Wrap under button to prevent accident activation and loss of fuel while lighter is in bag.
• Water Purification Tablet. Prepares 2 liters when purifying filtered, non-stagnant water.

Urban Kit: includes the following, 

• 1ft Tinder "Heavy-duty" Duct Tape (black). Can be set a flame as tinder.
• Handcuff Key with Clip. Universal.
• Shim Saw. Superesse brand shimming escape tool and micro saw.
• Kevlar Utility Cord. Kevlar heavy duty rope and friction saw.
• Thumb Tac Compass. 20mm Red point North Arrow, Brass Casing.
• 2x Extra Ranger Bands. 
• Micro Steel Carabiner Clip.
• Ziptie. Wrap under button to prevent accident activation and loss of fuel while lighter is in bag.

Fire Kit: includes the following,

• Ziptie. Wrap under button to prevent accident activation and loss of fuel while lighter is in bag.
• Tinder Parchment. Waxed shaving of pliable wood paper, highly fibrous for catching a spark in field expedited fire starting.
• 1ft Tinder "Heavy-duty" Duct Tape (orange). Can be set a flame as tinder.
• 2+ft Beeswax Jute Tinder. Serves as a wick for extended flames or as tinder. Waxed fibrous jute rope, 20lb tensile strength.
• 2 Inch Ferrocerium Rod. Emergency firestarter.

Instructions: Use ranger bands to secure items to the body of the lighter. A pair of needle nose pliers will help to stretch the ranger band onto the lighter. Wrap Jute or Kevlar around the lighter body and tie of the end so it stays secure. You can also store smaller items under the wrapping. Adhere Reflective or Glow tapes directly to the body. Add your own supplies too!
